Welcome to the Orchard
My family has had a walnut orchard for nearly 50 years. As a child, I often gleaned walnuts in the orchard and spent evenings cracking them out by the fire with my Grandpa. My Uncle John has been farming walnuts commercially for 40+ years, and, after my grandfather's passing, Uncle John now owns and manages our 17 acre multi-generational family walnut orchard in Red Bluff, CA.
I also lease and organically manage a 10 acre walnut orchard across the street from our family property. That orchard is where our certified organic walnuts come from.
We've always enjoyed our orchard fresh walnuts, so now we're shortening the supply chain and making our walnuts available directly to your family.

We ship to locations across the continental United States. We provide local delivery options for the Northern California I-5 Corridor. We partner with local stores in Red Bluff, Redding, and Weaverville to offer retail and buy-online-pick-up-in-store options. Our Full Refund Policy: 30 Day Refund Policy:
Refunds are at the sole discretion of the farmer/owner of Better Walnuts. I stand behind the quality of my product, but I also want to be treated fairly. Once I ship the walnuts to you, I cannot resell them even if you return them, so please read descriptions carefully. If my description of the product quality and amount is somehow not in alignment with what you received, I am happy to issue a justified refund. Please read product descriptions very carefully so that your expectations are in line with what the product is.
Refund Method: The refund will be issued back to the payment method you used to pay for the walnuts. Refund Requests: To request a refund, email asa@betterwalnuts.com or call 1 (530) 567-7543 . Please understand that you will likely receive a call or email from me, and we will discuss what is fair for the given situation. This is not a large business; when I refund you it is coming dollar for dollar out of the income I use to support my family and the farm. At the same time, maintaining the integrity of our business and making issues right is very important. If we made a mistake, please let me know and don't feel bad about it. We will make it right! But if you just want more free stuff, please understand that it costs a real person for you to get something for "free".
Walnut Payment Methods
We accept all the major credit cards. We use the same secure processors as the major e-commerce providers. For other payment methods, call or email first. We still do accept personal checks and cash on delivery (for local business deliveries), but we need to speak to you on a person to person basis vs. over the internet. Please note this service is only available when we are not extremely busy. I am often in the field when you call, so I am not always able to help you place an order immediately. The best and most certain way to get your order right and on time is to do it on this website. Unless you are local to Red Bluff, CA please don't call trying to find some lower price deal. The only lower price deals are available to local people who can pick up themselves or sometimes very elderly people or others who clearly are clearly in financial difficulty and I am making a sale where I am not looking for profit. In terms of business transactions, I am not a wheeler and dealer. I set the price for that particular time carefully based on what is profitable and the market. I am not interested in haggling, no not even for 500lb or 5,000 lb.
