Old fashioned walnut flavor. Smaller, darker meats. Darken over time much more than Chandler variety. Good flavor. About 5-10% quite dark typically but flavor still good. Potential to mold easily if stored in humidity. Avg 5-10% mold or insect damage. Do not store well long term. For that reason sold in smaller quantities.
